ANONYMOUS PACKAGE FORCES MINISTRY TO EVACUATE
WEASLEY ASKS FOR STRICTER RULES


An anonymous package sent to junior-Auror Harry 'Chosen One' Potter (21) caused mayhem at the ministry today. 'The package arrived via the non-Magic (Muggle) postal service and was addressed to "Mr H. Potter (Wizard) c/o Magic Government of England, London",' Percy Weasley, Head of the department for Inner-Ministerial Regulation and Control, told this reporter. 'It was packed rather carelessly and had an altogether lumpy appearance. Naturally, it evoked suspicion.'
The package was, however, spotted before it could reach its addressee. 'Ms Parkinson from the Magical Maintenance Team spotted the package when she was mopping the postal department,' Weasley tells, 'and she immediately alerted Security.'
Security Witch P. Clearwater declared the package suspicious and potentially dangerous and ordered immediate evacuation of the whole building. 'She was completely right to do so,' Weasley says heatedly. 'As we all know, Harry is somewhat of a celebrity, and none of us wanted to risk anything. We all know the dangers of anonymous postings. I myself have received various offensive letters when I was still working in the Department for Magical Cooperation.'
The package was then opened by several Aurors and Senior Members of Security, but was found to contain nothing but a framed picture, a pair of socks and a birthday card bearing the message 'HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY HARRY FROM DUDLEY.'
'We are quite sure the message is genuine,' Weasley continues. 'Harry seems to have an admirer in the non-Magic (Muggle) community. Nevertheless, I maintain that we need a stricter regulation for both incoming and out-going mail. Although this proved harmless, we clearly see the immediate need for improvement of our control standards.'
Harry 'Chosen One' Potter was not available for a comment. His long-term partner, Ginevra 'The Blizzard' Weasley (19), famous Chaser, told this reporter to evacuate the premises before she could hex her.
