Kiss of the Day

Elizabeth smiled at him and he simply had to kiss her, her smile was so inviting. Very soon, though, he noticed that what he had meant as a simple kiss had turned into much more. He found himself unable to withhold his passion any more. He buried his fingers in her soft curls and kissed her as he had wanted to kiss her ever since their first meeting. Pink clouds wafted around them, bright red hearts floated in the air and little cupids played their harps.

'Dearest, loveliest Elizabeth,' Mr Darcy muttered into Elizabeth rose-scented curls, 'I love you with all my heart, with all my soul.'

The fragrance of roses and chocolate fondue filled the clearing where they were standing and cute little fluffy bunnies hopped around their feet.

'You are the one soul I have waited for all my life,' Mr Darcy whispered hoarsely, 'You are my soulmate; I cannot live without you.'

Then, one of the little white fluffy bunnies jumped up and ripped Elizabeth's throat with one quick bite.

I keep thinking of Holy Grail since reading this (big, pointy teeth and all that) and then I went to Target and MP& the Holy Grail was on sale for $10. So I bought it. I figured it was a sign.

A sign, definitely. One can never have too much Monty Python.

Agree on Monty Python. And yes, it reminded me of Holy Grail too.
